Hello and welcome to Isafaro. Thank you for taking the time to check us out, and I hope you choose us for your role-playing needs. Below is a list of rules that everyone is expected to follow upon joining the forum, but first take a look at the ProBoards Term of Service and Community Guidelines as all forums under the ProBoards name are expected to abide by these terms.
1.) Respect
I don’t expect everyone to get along, but I do expect you all to respect the forum and keep personal disputes to PMs or instant messenger. If you can’t settle a dispute contact a staff member and we’ll do our best to settle the situation.
2.) Spam
No spamming the site. This means one word responses, one liners, or posting your site link on the board or through private messages. The only exception to the first two things is the Forum Games section where post count is disabled.
3.) Hotlinking
Do not hotlink an image from another site. Please use a free hosting service like Imgur, Image Shack, or Photobucket. You can upload a picture to your avatar from your pictures folder on your profile.
4.) Godmodding
Absolutely no godmodding on the site. This means you have a perfect, all powerful character that can’t be beat. That’s simply not how role-playing works. Please give your characters weaknesses and flaws.
5.) Powerplaying
No calculating damage for the other player. Please give everyone the chance to avoid damage if they can. Also don’t dodge everything all the time. This is another form of godmodding.
6.) Metagaming
No using knowledge you learn out of character (OOC) for your character. All information must be explained through in character (IC) means.
7.) No Killing
Do not kill a person’s character without their expressed consent.
